Abstract EN

The research aims to evaluate guidance and counseling services from the point of view of student counselors in secondary schools in Jeddah Governorate.

To achieve this goal, the research relied on the descriptive approach to measure the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services.

From the point of view of student counselors at the secondary stage in Jeddah, the researcher used a questionnaire aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services.

In secondary school schools from the point of view of student counselors prepared by (Regis, 2008) and translation (Al-Zahrani, 2006) which contains (136) words in its original version and the research community will be from all student counselors in the governmental and private secondary stage in Jeddah and Alba Their number reached (152) student guides according to the statistics of the General Administration of Education in the second semester of the academic year 1435 AH-1436 AH, and the research reached a set of results, the most important of which was the absence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the members of the research community on all axes of the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services (Axis of guidance and counseling services components, axis of benefits of guidance and extension services, and axis of factors affecting guidance and counseling services) depending on the type of school variable (governmental / private).
