The aim of the study is to identify the level of beliefs of food among players of sport teams in Jordanian universities, as well as to determine the differences in the level of beliefs of food due to the variables of (age, training, sex and game) among the players, in addition to identifying the most paragraphs that able to predict the level of overall beliefs.

To achieve this, the study was conducted on a sample of 154 players: (54) from al Balqa Applied University and (50) from Mutah University and (50) from Yarmouk University.

a questionnaire which consisted (15) paragraph was applied to measure awareness of food amongst the players.

Data was processed using arithmetic averages and percentages, t-test, and regression coefficient.

The results showed that the level of public beliefs of food among the members of the sample was average, reaching the percentage of response to (70.80%).

The results also indicate a lack of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the level of awareness of food due to gender and game, while in experience variable the result came in favor of most experience, also, the study has reached to top five paragraphs have the ability to predict the level of General awareness of food with a percentage of (89%).

The researchers recommended that coaches at Jordanian universities need to pay attention to the theoretical aspects of health behavior especially the food in order to elevate the ratio to a higher degree in the level of beliefs of food and health.

They also recommend increasing the training courses of coaches at Jordan universities in regards to the aspects of health and nutrition.
