The aim of this paper is to overview the general concepts of culture and language teaching.

In particular, it addresses the status of culture teaching in the Algerian EFL classrooms.

It attempts to present some recommendations and guidelines for EFL teachers about how to embed cultural aspects in their EFL instruction.

More, this study intents to display some methods and techniques that help EFL teachers to consolidate the cultural content of their instruction.
