Abstract EN

The aim of this article is to explore the work of the French orientalist Jaques Berque in his revised translation of the Quran, in order to deduce the general method he adopted to interpret and to translate quranic words.

The analysis will focus on his translation of verses containing scientific indications to which he added commentaries in order to determine precisely his approach.

The analysis will be based on linguistic exegesis
