The concepts of social extremism and psychological security of the factors affecting the personal, as the high level of social extremism adversely affect the behavior of individuals and groups through its impact on mental health and on the extent of acceptance of others.

As a result of the bad security conditions experienced by the province of Diyala, and what their impact on the students felt slice researchers to study these variables among Students in the preparatory stage.

The current research aims to identify- : 1.

level social extremism among middle school students.

2.The significance of differences in the level of social extremism among students of the preparatory stage variable depending on the type (male-female.) 3.The level of psychological security among Students in the preparatory stage.

4.The significance of differences in the psychological level of security to the students of the preparatory stage variable depending on the type (male -anat.) 5.The relationship between social extremism and psychological security.

The current research study defines psychological security among Students in the preparatory stage and the research sample consisted of 150 students and a student of preparatory school students in the center of the city of Baquba in Diyala province, chosen at random.

Adoption of the current search Scale (Kassem, 2010) and social radicalism, also adopted a measure (Mutlaq, 1994) for the security of psychotherapy for students of undergraduate and has been adapted to the students of the preparatory stage, through a presentation to a group of experts unanimously agreed it can be used for this phase was extracted some properties Alsekoumtrah to scale them (honesty and consistency).

And to address the research data that has been the adoption of several statistical tools including :-( Pearson correlation coefficient, Altaia test for independent samples and two independent samples).

And current research has reached the following results- : 1 .The level of social extremism among students of the preparatory stage tends to be somewhat higher.

2.The level of psychological sense of security among the students of the preparatory phase tends to fall somewhat.

3-.The lack of a significant correlation between social extremism and psychological securit
