Dubbing a genuine technique for transmitting the culture of the other : case of two Turkish films dubbed in the Algerian accent

The purpose of this survey is to throw some light upon dubbing; one important technique of translation that is related to the audio visual field and can transmit foreign culture through the use of the target language.

To this account an investigation of two Turkish films dubbed in the Algiersian accent is carried out.

The result shows that although the Algerian language is used, some cultural elements of this language are dismissed so as to cope with the foreign culture, hence the Algerian Tele spectator is threatened.
