الملخص EN

As we all know, the studying EFL is a tough job that entails mastering a variety of activities in a variety of areas.

The purpose of this study is to examine the difficulties encountered by the majority of English learners when it comes to grammatical rules.

They know the English language's grammatical rules instinctively, allowing them to create an unlimited number of phrases.

As a result, these grammatical structures seem to be very complex.

Non-finite verbs are those that lack the capacity to function as the only verb in a simple phrase and the ability to be marked for tense/or to be in harmony with the subject.

Today, there is a need to examine non-finite forms since they represent one of the most significant issues in which forms may influence the grammatical behavior of other forms.

Additionally, English language learners benefit from a working understanding of non-finite verb forms.

As such, the researcher here employs a diagnostic exam to accomplish the study's objectives.

Additionally, the findings of this study indicate that error analysis, as a branch of applied linguistics and methodology, has a significant impact on the learning of non-finite verbs due to the variety of errors that occur in their form (i.e.

this study establishes that non- finite verbs are extremely difficult).

That is why non-native English speakers such as Iraqis, Algerians, and Syrians score poorly in comparison to their capacity to acquire a language.

According to Mala, M (2010) Syntactic Functions of Finite and Non-finite Clauses in Academic English, University College London (2016) has conducted extensive research on this subject.
