The aim of the research is to know (the effect of the strategy (do, review, study, apply) on acquiring mathematical concepts for fourth graders of primary school)كThe research sample consisted of (62) female students of the fourth grade of primary school from Al-Kifah Al-Arabi School affiliated to the Baghdad Education Directorate.

They were chosen randomly, one of them was an experimental group with (32) students, and the other was a control group with (33) students.

The students of the two research groups studied mathematics for the fourth grade of primary school, and the researcher taught the two research groups (experimental and control) according to the teaching plans she prepared The students of the experimental group studied according to the strategy (do, see, study, apply), and the students of the control group studied in the traditional way The equivalence was made between the students of the two research groups (experimental and control in the following variables (intelligence, previous knowledge in mathematics, chronological age calculated in months and parents' achievement The researcher prepared her research tool: the test of acquiring mathematical concepts, which was defined with (10) mathematical concepts, and (20) objective paragraphs of the type of multiple choice were formulated according to the processes of acquisition (definition and discrimination) and its validity, stability, and discriminatory strength of its paragraphs and the effectiveness of the alternatives for the paragraphs were confirmedكThe search results showed the following :There is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the two research groups (experimental and control) in (the test of acquiring mathematical concepts and in favor of the experimental group students who studied using the strategy (do, review, study, apply).
