Abstract EN

This study aims at assessing students of secondary school achievement in using the passive forms used in their textbooks.

Also, it tries to find out the difficulties that students encounter in using irregular verbs and verb to be.

It is hypothesized that female student's achievement is better than the achievement of the male students, and students' performance in using regular verbs is better than using irregular in passive sentences.

After collecting data and analyzing them statistically, it is found that students face difficulties in using irregular verbs, and female students' performance in using passive forms is better than male students.
