Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out reading difficulties and their relationship to academic achievement of a sample of students with learning difficulties in the first three grades from the viewpoint of teachers of difficulties.

The study used the descriptive survey approach, and the sample consisted of teachers of difficulties in public schools in the university district in the capital Amman, and their number reached (25) teachers.

A questionnaire consisting of (23) items was prepared.

The results of the study showed that the sample individuals ’estimates of reading difficulties among the first three grades of students with learning difficulties were high.

The results also showed a correlation between reading difficulties and academic achievement.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations.
