The aim of the current research is to identify the extent to which analogical reasoning is possess for biology teachers at the secondary stage, and to identify the differences in their analogical reasoning according to variables of degree and stage.

The sample size was (200) for the secondary stage teachers randomly selected from (776) biology teachers.

The two researchers have prepared an analogical reasoning test, consisting of (21) objects, to check the two research aims.

The validity and reliability of the test was checked after exploratory testing.

It analyzed the coefficients of discrimination, ease, and the degree of correlation between the paragraph and the total score.

Even for the analytical paragraphs the efficacy of the dispersants was measured.

The data were analyzed statistically after administering the test in its final form, as the researchers used the equation (t-test) for one sample to check whether the biology teachers had analogical reasoning, and the findings revealed whether they did not possess the analogical reasoning skills.

The statistical method of binary variance analysis was used to check the analogical reasoning discrepancies according to the degree and stage variables, and the results showed that there are variations in favor of (the higher degree-and the intermediate stage) interacting with both the degree and the stage.

The two research suggested the inclusion of thought educational programs in the academic preparation stage of the pre-service teacher, and suggested testing the analogical thinking variable using independent variables such as (scientific debate models).
