This study aimed to identify prevailing of communication parents – child (open / problem) among Students repetitive for baccalaureate, and to study the relationship between communication (parents – child ) and the level of ambition among the research sample.

For this purpose.

we applied the (parent - adolescent) communication scale (Olson and Barnnes, 1982) and ambition level scale (Kamlia: Abdel-Fattah (1984) on 100 students repetitive for baccalaureate on four secondary schools in Tizi Ouzou; The study results following Students repetitive for baccalaureate were perceive that the communication prevailing between them and their mothers is open - communication، while they were perceive their communication with their fathers is problem communication than open communication There is a statistically significant relationship between the two forms of (parents – children) communication and the level of ambition among- Students repetitive for baccalaureate.
