The Algerian school has known comprehensive educational reforms for all components of educational and training practice, thus, it brought a gradual change in the study programs in line with reform philosophy and its references, and in coincidence with the latest developments.

therefore, this study aimed to reveal the pragmatic dimensions included in educational texts, by studying Arabic language book for the fourth year of intermediate education, second generation, according to the foundations of the pragmatic approach, which are represented in : speech acts theory, conversational implicate and presupposition … in order to determine the efficacy of study programs, and their compliance with terms and rules of communicative reporting process, which achieves comprehensive and integrated growth for learners, and gives them access to mastery of language skills and communication in their daily life.
