Abstract EN

This study aimed to detect the differences in achievement motivation between students of the second year secondary school.

In motivation scores for achievement according to sex and specialization variable.

The sample of the study consisted of(350) students.

Based on the motivation measure of achievement by Al-Ghamdi(2009).

The descriptive approach was used in its comparative to suit the nature of the subject.

The results of the present study indicated there are statistically significant differences in achievement motivation due to gender variable in favor of females.

In addition, there are no statistically significant differences in achievement motivation due to specialization variable.
