أساليب معلمي العلوم في معالجة صعوبات تعلم المفاهيم العلمية لدى طلبة المرحلة الأساسية في ضوء مبادئ التدريس الاستراتيجي

Abstract EN

This research aims to investigate science teachers’ methods in Treatment scientific concepts learning difficulties among primary Stage students, and identifying the ratio to which these methods are consistent with the principles of strategic teaching.

Data was gathered through personal interviews with (24) science teachers in the city of Ramtha (Northern Jordan).

Our results illustrate that participants have a tendency to use teacher role centered methods which are significantly consistent with the surface level of strategic teaching principles, and weakly consistent with the deep level of the same principles.

In light of these results, we propose a number of recommendations most notably conducting more comprehensive evaluating studies for science teachers’ expertise levels regarding strategic teaching, and investigating the challenges they face in practicing strategic teaching.
