Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the degree of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) among Governmental secondary school principals in the capital city of Amman-Jordan from their own viewpoint.

The study sample consisted of (230) Principals.

The Results of study showed that the degree of ICT usage among high school principals was high, also The study Results showed the degree of barriers to the use of ICT by Governmental secondary school principals is medium, and the most important obstacles is (not to use highquality Internet features; which hinder access to information quickly), also showed the most important ways to reduce obstacles is (training of principals on the use of ICTs).

The results also showed statistically significant differences in the degree of ICT usage among high school principals at the level of statistical significance according to the gender variable and the benefit of males.

The scientific qualification and for the postgraduate, the results did not show statistically significant differences in the degree of using of ICT in Governmental secondary school principals depending on the experience variable
