Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the effect of the cognitive modeling strategy in improving the achievement and contemplative thinking in the Fiqh of second grade students in Saudi Arabia.

The study was followed by the semi-experimental method.

The study sample consisted of two experimental groups that were studied according to the cognitive modeling strategy, while the control group was studied according to the usual method.

The number of students (43) students distributed by (21) students for the experimental group and (22) students of the control group, and the study was applied in the second semester of 2017/2018, and the school was chosen medium schools in a deliberate way to show the school administration ready to implement the study and provide Help.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a test of achievement and a measure of contemplative thinking was developed.

The results of the study showed the following: There were statistically significant differences at the mean level (0.05) between the mean scores of the two experimental groups which were studied using the cognitive modeling strategy and the control group signs which were studied in the usual way on the achievement test and the measurement of reflective thinking and for the experimental group.

In light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations
