Abstract EN

The study aimed at finding out the effect of the interaction between the models -Hilda Taba, Frayer- and the level of achievement -high, low- on the development of mathematical ingenuity and mathematical communication among the fourth grade students in Gaza.

The researchers used the experimental method.

The study sample consisted of (54) fourth grade students, (28) students as a first experimental group studied using the Frayer model, (26) students as a second experimental group studied using the Hilda Taba model.

The researchers prepared two tools for study: a test to measure mathematical proficiency and a test to measure mathematical communication.

The most important results were: The absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a=0.05) between the averages of the students' degrees in the post-application of the mathematical proficiency test due to the interaction between the models -Hilda Taba, Frayer- and the level of achievement -high, low-, There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a=0.05) between the mean scores of the students in the post-application of the mathematical communication test due to the interaction between the models- Hilda Taba, Frayer - and the level of achievement -high, low-.
