Teaching the Arabic language in its various fields is the primary challenge of primary school, as well as all other stages of education, in order to provide learners with the basic language skills of listening (understanding logic), communication (oral expression), reading (understanding written), and writing (written production).

the Arabic language in our educational system is not only a learning subject, it is also a means to study various activities and materials and a flexible tool that enables the learner to express his feelings and ideas and communicate with others.

what fits the situation and level.

therefore, we will try in this article, entitled : “basic linguistic skills and their importance in building the basic competencies of primary school learners according to the new curricula”.
