Abstract EN

This study aimed for exploring the degree of sixth basic grade Arabic language textbooks inclusion of creative reading skills and its practice by students, to achieve the study objective, the researchers developed a self test for the creative reading skills performance made up of (24) question with multiple choices for every question, and it was verified, then the researchers made an analysis for the contents of sixth basic grade Arabic language textbooks and showed the results in a specific schedule, the study sample (274) male and female six grade students in the schools of the education directorate in Alkoura district, who were chosen randomly for the study objectives, after being chosen purposefully.

After the study been applied, the study showed the following results: The means of the study sample respondents regarding the creative reading test were (originality (493 frequency), with fluency (298 frequency), in the first rank, then flexibility (90 frequency) and expansion (69 frequency).

The means of the study sample respondents regarding the creative reading test were (24.78) with relative significance (49.6%) which indicate the level practice was moderate according to the statistical criterion implemented at this study.

The results also showed that there aren’t any statistical significant difference at significance interval (a= 0.05) regarding the possession of sixth basic grade students in Alkoura district for the creative reading skills attributed to gender variable, because all of the values of statistical significance more than the significance interval (a= 0.05).

The results showed that there weren't any significant relationship between creative reading skills of Arabic language textbook for sixth grades and its practice.

There isn't any statistical significant difference at (a= 0.05) for sixth grade students acquisition for creative reading skills in Alkoura district due to gender variable.

Finally, a number of relevant recommendations were made
